I saved my image but the transparent part turned white. What went wrong?
You probably saved it as JPG. JPEG files can't hold transparency because the format simply doesn't support it. Save your image as PNG instead and the transparent background will stay intact. When you use our tool, hit the "Download PNG" button and you'll get a real transparent file every time.
The edges around hair look rough. Is there a way to get cleaner cutouts?
Hair is the toughest thing for any background remover to get right. Our tool runs an edge refinement step after the initial cutout to smooth things out. If you're still seeing some fringing, try using a photo where the hair has good contrast against the background. Dark hair on a light background works best.
