We built BackgroundRemoverZ for people who want quick image tools without handing over their photos. Most editing happens directly in your browser. This page explains what we collect, what we do not collect and where third party services may be involved.
Account data
There are no signup forms, no email fields and no user accounts on this site. We do not identify you personally when you use the tools. We have no database of user profiles because we never ask you to create one.
Your photos never leave your device
Every image you drop into our tools gets processed right inside your browser. The background model and all canvas operations run on your own computer or phone. We do not upload your photos to our server for editing, storage or review.
When you close the tab, your images disappear from memory. We cannot recover them because we never had them.
Files you download
Downloaded files are created by your browser and saved to your own device. We do not receive a copy of the result. We also do not keep a history of the tools you used or the images you edited.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and where performance problems appear. Analytics does not include your images. We also show ads to cover hosting and development costs. Ad partners may use cookies if you allow advertising cookies in the banner.
Third parties
The site may load Google Fonts, Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These services receive normal browser request data, such as your IP address, device type and page URL. They do not receive your uploaded images from our tools. We do not sell data to brokers or affiliate networks.
Contact form data
If you send us a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject and message so we can reply. We keep contact messages only as long as needed for support, security and record keeping. You can ask us to delete a previous message by contacting us from the same email address.
Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:

Keeping images local is the main security choice we made. It reduces the amount of personal data that can ever touch our systems. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep the data we collect as limited as we can.
