By using BackgroundRemoverZ, you agree to these terms. We kept them in plain language because image tools should not need a wall of legal text.

Everything is free

All tools on this site are free to use. There are no premium plans, no credit systems and no hidden fees. You can process as many images as you want, as often as you want, without paying anything or creating an account.

You own your work

Every image you upload and every result you download belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership, license or rights over your content. Since processing happens in your browser, your files never reach our servers. We could not claim rights over them even if we wanted to.

Your responsibility

Only edit images you own, created yourself or have permission to use. This matters most for watermark repair, product photos, portraits, screenshots and branded images. Removing a mark from someone else's work does not give you the right to use that work.

Nothing is stored

We do not save your images, your edits or any data about your session. Close your browser tab and everything is gone. There are no accounts, no cloud storage and no history of what you did on this site.

Official documents and sensitive images

Some tools help with passport-style photos, ID-style crops or document uploads. They can help you prepare a file, but they do not guarantee approval by a government office, school, bank, marketplace or platform. Always check the current rules from the place where you plan to submit the image.

No guarantees

The tools work well for most images, but we cannot promise perfect results every time. Complex backgrounds, low-resolution photos or unusual subjects may produce imperfect cutouts. We provide the tools as they are, without warranty of any kind.

Third-party services

The site may use Google services for fonts, analytics and advertising. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites, tools or ads that you choose to open.

Use it responsibly

Do not use these tools to edit images you do not have the right to use. Do not process illegal content, impersonate another person or create misleading documents. Do not try to attack, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the site in a way that harms the service for others.

Limitation of liability

Use the tools at your own risk. We are not liable for rejected uploads, lost files, business losses, missed deadlines or decisions made by third party platforms after you use an edited image.

Availability

We aim to keep the site running around the clock, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance, updates or unexpected issues may cause temporary downtime. We will do our best to keep interruptions short.

Changes

We may update these terms if needed. Any changes will show up on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, that counts as accepting the new terms.
